In light of legal frameworks, such as the German Buildings Energy Act (GEG) and attractive state subsidy options, heat pumps play a vital role when it comes to selecting a heating system, both in new-builds and existing buildings. Depending on the application and building, different aspects must be considered when choosing a suitable heat pump system. A flexible choice of heat pump indoor unit allows you to optimally address different requirements and needs.
Renewable heating systems and efficient buildings are being promoted as part of the climate package. This includes heat pumps, pellet stoves and solar thermal systems. Benefit from state subsidies and let us advise you.
The BEG (German federal government subsidies for efficient buildings) is replacing the existing programmes from the Credit Institute for Reconstruction (KfW) and the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA). Proven elements have been developed further and bundled into three sub-programmes, which is intended to make the subsidy programme easier to understand for citizens, companies and municipalities.

The existing heat distribution and heat transfer system is to be retained and operated with a heat pump that is optimised for replacing existing oil or gas boilers. In addition, it should be possible to install a photovoltaic system with an energy management system or a stove. In addition, if you consider optimising the radiators, the efficiency of the heat pump can be further increased.
Our house was built in 1960 and has only had some minor renovation work in the meantime. The distribution systems consists solely of radiators and we'd like to directly replace the outdated oil heating system with a heat pump. Our areas of focus are investment and running costs, as well as convenience. We'd also like to incorporate a stove into the new heating system.
The selected heat pump system consists of the WLW MBE+ AR outdoor unit and the Logatherm WLW186i AR E indoor unit. The heat pump can be installed directly and operated efficiently because it is optimised for use in existing buildings with higher design temperatures. It is straightforward to integrate a stove into the heating system thanks to the versatile Logatherm WLW186i AR E indoor unit. Replacing the existing oil heating system allows you to benefit from the maximum level of subsidy.

The customer would like to continue using the existing heat distribution and heat transfer system and operate it with a heat pump in the future. Apart from replacing a window, no renovation work is planned. The focus is on ensuring the efficient operation of the heat pump with the existing heating elements, as well as the long-term reliability of the heating system.
Our house was built in 1970 and is largely in its original condition. We would like to tackle the renovation in manageable steps. First, we’ll replace the windows to improve the home's appearance. After that, we'd like to switch to a heat pump system that allows us to continue using the existing heating elements. So we're looking for a solution that works efficiently with our existing heating elements and does not require major renovation work.
The right solution is the Logatherm heat pump system WLW186i MBE+ AR, which consists of the outdoor unit WLW MBE+ AR and indoor unit Logatherm WLW186i AR TP70. The system was specifically designed for existing buildings that require higher flow temperatures and operates very efficiently even with existing heating elements. The indoor unit already includes heating system components and a buffer tank – this also saves space and makes installation simpler.
The existing heat transfer system should be partially retained and partially replaced with an underfloor heating system. The outdated gas boiler is replaced with a heat pump system. The customer's attention is not only drawn to the heat pump's quiet and efficient operation, but also the opportunity to be independent from fossil energy sources.
Our house was built in 1960 and we had it extensively renovated in 2023. We achieve high power coverage by reducing energy consumption in a targeted manner and adding a photovoltaic system. Our focus is on future-proofing by no longer using fossil energy sources.
The selected heat pump system consists of the WLW MB AR outdoor unit and the Logatherm WLW186i AR TP70 indoor unit. The outdoor unit is remarkably quiet and fits well in the area in front of the house. The indoor unit with an integrated buffer cylinder requires little space in a cellar and can also be used in areas with a low ceiling height. The system is monitored and controlled, and the amount of self-generated electricity used is optimised, using the MyEnergy Master app.
In light of legal frameworks, such as the German Buildings Energy Act (GEG) and the defined house efficiency standards, heating and ventilation systems play a vital role in new-builds. While demand for a comfortable indoor climate grows, so too does the demand for self-generated electricity and environmentally friendly, future-proof systems.
We're looking for an efficient heat pump system solution for our new home. The heating system should take up as little space as possible both internally and externally and fit in well in the surrounding area. Our areas of focus are the price-performance ratio and simple installation.
The selected heat pump system consists of the WLW MB AR outdoor unit and the Logatherm WLW176 AR T180 indoor unit. The remarkably quiet outdoor unit can be optimally added to any environment thanks to its compact, modern design and can be installed even on the smallest of plots. In addition, to minimise the amount of space needed inside buildings, all of the heating system components are integrated on just 0.4 m².
