Heating insert replacement tool​

Replacement of a heating insert.​

  • older devices must be modernised in acc. with the 1st Federal Emission Control Regulations (BImSchV)
  • replacement requirement applies to systems commissioned between 01.01.1950 to 21.03.2010
  • final deadline: Replacement must be completed by 31.12.2024, orby the next inspection of the heating system by a certified master chimney sweep
  • gas heater inserts are also subject to the 1st Federal Emission Control Regulations (1. BImSchV). Only the maximum specified flue loss is permitted – older gas heating inserts exceed this limit.
