Logatherm WLW286 air-to-water heat pump

HIT and how the valves work.

Hybrid Injection Technology – a smart combination.

HIT technology is used in bivalent system with high-temperature and low-temperature storage devices. In the process, a low-temperature buffer cylinder is loaded by the heat pump and a high-temperature buffer cylinder is loaded by a gas boiler. As a priority, the heat supply for the heating circuits is provided by the low-temperature buffer cylinder. This drastically increases the solar coverage of the heat pump, improving the system efficiency.

System advantage:

In larger buildings, freshwater stations ensure a high level of domestic hot water comfort. The heat from the buffer cylinder is directly used via the heat exchanger for DHW heating via the instantaneous water heating principle. This ensures that the highest requirements in terms of hygiene are fulfilled. Thanks to its large heat exchanger and low temperature level in the buffer cylinder, the Logaflow HSM plus WW is perfectly suitable for combining with heat pumps. In addition, it can be optimally integrated into systems with the Logamatic 5000 or a building management system, though it is also suitable for stand-alone operation.
