Application: Market environment

Newly constructed multi-occupancy buildings with heat-pump systems.

  • large demand for modern, sustainable and affordable living space
  • numerous legal framework conditions with regard to achieving CO2-neutrality – not just for heat production
  • large amount of stress for investors with regard to the procurement of high-quality residences in a sustainable design at low investment costs with simultaneously high legal requirements

Application: Building.

Newly constructed multi-occupancy buildings with heat-pump systems.

A multi-family house with 10 to 30 residential units.

A centralised heat supply and decentralised DHW heating are required. The number of residential units can be individually scaled by adapting the output size of the heat pumps or via a cascade. This results in an efficiency-optimised system application for a heat-pump central heating system operated via a single energy source.

Application: Requirement.

Newly constructed multi-occupancy buildings with heat-pump systems.

The requirement:

  • future-oriented, highly efficient and sustainable heat production
  • efficient heat-pump operation through decentralised DHW heating at low investment costs
  • residents' and/or property owners' demand for individuality, comfort and low operating costs
  • indoor climate (ventilation)
  • when combined with a four-pipe system, it is also suitable for cooling or operation with optimised running costs

Application: Market environment.

Modernisation in the housing sector with a single energy source heat pump system.

  • CO2 saving goals make renovating multi-family houses increasingly appealing
  • rising demand for high-quality housing stock with low running costs
  • legal framework requires integration of regenerative heat generators

Application: Building.

Modernisation in the housing sector with a single energy source heat pump system.

Multi-family housing in urban settings.

This partially renovated building in the town provides space for 6 to 12 residential units with a heating load of respectively 4 to 5 kW per unit! The heat and DHW supply is being changed from decentralised gas-fired central heating systems to centralised heat production with decentralised heat interface units as part of modernisation.

Application: Requirement.

Modernisation in the economy with a single energy source heat pump system.

The requirement:

  • future-oriented, highly efficient and sustainable heat production
  • robust, durable system set-up with high operational safety
  • 1:1 replacement solution for existing decentralised fossil-based wall-mounted boilers

System advantage:

An increase in the insulation standard improves the tightness, ensuring that the air change-over over the building envelope is minimised. The air change-over is of equal importance to the building's structure and for its residents. Therefore, it is recommended to expand the basic system to include heat recovery ventilation, which guarantees the automatic air change-over and a comfortable indoor climate while maintaining a high level of efficiency.
