Application: project.
Pioneering system design for small businesses.
A heating contractor as an example of a small business.
The business runs on natural gas and has a continuously high demand for electricity. The aim is to reduce energy costs, introduce air conditioning and provide a comfortable indoor climate by means of a future proof retrofit. Fuel cell technology is the ideal solution for small businesses and residential buildings – where, against a backdrop of high power consumption, independence as well as efficiency and environmental awareness are of equal concern.
In addition to the working spaces, the business has a residential building connected to it and comprises 375 m² in total.
Energy demand of the heating contractor:
- heating demand: approx. 46,000 kWh p.a.
- hot water demand: approx. 4,000 kWh p.a.
- power consumption: approx. 17,000 kWh p.a.
